Hyderabad, Mar 15 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today castigated TRS MLA Harish Rao over the latter's use of language in the House during the debate of No-confidence motion.

The Chief Minister obstructed Mr Rao's speech asking him to mind his language after he intervened objecting to the harsh words used by him on the Congress party.

He said, "threats won't work. What has to be given to whom, when and how much-we are very much aware of that."

"If you think that we will agree to your demands out of fear, then you are mistaken. We will not give a single rupee to Telangana region, you can write this on paper."

Raising a strong objection to the CM's comments, Mr Rao demanded that Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy should withdraw his statements.

Mr Reddy also said he had not become the Chief Minister on the mercy of Mr Rao and it was the Congress party which had appointed him as the Chief Minister.

He said the TRS MLA was talking like a street rowdy and advised him to control his tongue and change his talking style.

Pointing out to Mr Rao, Mr Reddy said that he too was born and brought up in Telangana and hence he could not be cowed down easily.
