Bitti Mohanti brought to Jaipur
Jaipur, Mar 15 : Bitti Mohanti, son of retired Odisha DGP and absconding convict in case of rape on a German woman, was today brought here for identification at the central jail here.
The absconder who was arrested in Kannur by Kerala Police last week, was brought here this morning by a joint team of Rajasthan and Kerala Police.
Mohanti was convicted in the rape case and was awarded jail term of seven years ago.
However, he secured release on parole, then jumped parole and gone missing.
