Visually-impaired couple crushed by train
Kanpur, Mar 15 : A visually-impaired couple was run over by a train at Bhimsen railway junction, about 20 kms from here, last evening, police stated today.
The differentially-abled couple, who was yet to be identified, was crossing the tracks, when they were crushed by Kanpur-bound Udyog Nagri Express train.
However, due to carelessness of railway employees two more trains passed through their bodies, police added.
Furious over the delay, a mob blocked the track and pelted stones on Chitrakoot Express.
The mutilated bodies were removed from the tracks after three hours.
