Mayawati pays floral tribute to Kanshiram on 79th birth anniversary
Lucknow, Mar 15 : Bahujan Samaj Party supremo and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today paid floral tributes to the founder of his the party late Kanshi Ram on his 79th birth anniversary.
Ms Mayawati went to BSP Prerna Kendra in New Delhi to offer her tributes to the great leader who was instrumental in bringing party to the fore.
Ms Mayawati said she and her entire party is fighting for the agenda launched by late Kanshiram for a 'humanitarian India' where there is no discrimination on caste or creed line.
She said due to the efforts of Kanshiram, BSP came to power in Uttar Pradesh four times. He had worked for the upliftment of the poor, Dalits and backwards, she added.
