All-India cricket tourney for Physically challenged from Mar 15

Bangalore, Mar 14: Top state teams will be seen in action in the three-day All India Cricket Tournament for Physically Challenged, beginning here from tomorrow.

The event is being organised by All India Cricket Association for physically challenged.

The teams from Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Mumbai, Baroda, Assam, Manipur, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry are taking part in this tournament.

However, the Karnataka team will not be participating because it did not qualify in the Zone tournament, association Secretary M Mahadeva said.

Former Team India captain Ajit Wadekar, former Indian cricket team captain, currently the President of All India Cricket Association for Physically Challenged, will be present, on the opening day.
