AIR Bangalore to organise Literary Fest
Bangalore, Mar 14: Reviving an age-old tradition, All India Radio, Bangalore will organise a three-day Kannada Literary Festival 'Nava Navodaya' -- Kannada Literature: Perspectives for the future' here from March 22.
In all, 20 scholarly papers discussing some major concerns of the contemporary Kannada Literature will be presented by prominent litterateurs during this festival each followed by an open discussion.
Jnanapeeth awardee Chandrashekhar Kambar will be inaugurating the event, while keynote address will be delivered by Dr Rajendra Chenni. Noted writer Baragur Ramachandrappa will be delivering the valedictory address.
Post Graduate students and lecturers of Kannada Literature as well as the general public interested in Kannada literature would benefit from this event, a press release issued here today said.
