10 MLC's from different parties elected unopposed for council in AP
Hyderabad, Mar 14: Andhra Pradesh Legislative secretary S Sadaram today announced that five Congress MLCs,three from
TDP and one each from TRS and YSRCP, were elected 'unopposed'
after the withdrawal of nominations for the ten seats of the Legislative Council under the MLA's quota.
Mr Sadaram handed over the declaration forms to the congress MLCs-- K Veerabhadra Swamy, Ms Lakshmi Sivas Kumari, Mohd Ali Shabbir, T Santosh Kumar and P Sudhakar Reddy.
He has also handed over the forms to TDP MLC candidates Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, who is a former speaker of the assembly, Ms Samantakamani and Md Saleem, TRS candidate Mr Mahmood Ali and A Appa Rao of YSRCP.
