Kalam wants to interact with students

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Mar 14: Former president and eminent scientist Dr A P J Abdul Kalam has expressed his wish to visit the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) by the year-end,according to Vice-Chancellor Vijay Phandaripande.

Dr Kalam attended the 53rd convocation ceremony of the University on Sunday.

However, due to his delayed arrival in the city, he could not interact with hundreds of students. who had no official invitation cards to attend the function.

According to Mr Phandaripande, the secretariat of Dr Kalam has informed the university that he wishes to visit BAMU again to have interaction with students and teachers by the year-end.

During his visit, Dr Kalam praised the arrangements for the convocation, he added.
