Ready to discuss people's issues in House: Minister
Hyderabad, Mar 12 : Legislative Affairs Minister Sridhara Babu today said his government was ready to face any discussion relating to 'people's issues' in Budget Session beginning tomorrow.
Talking to reporters here, the Minister said the Congress government is not afraid of facing a non-trust motion since "we are sure that it will be defeated because our party has sufficient strength in the Assembly".
When asked about the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) decision to move no-trust motion in the Budget Session, Mr Babu advised such parties should check their strength in the House before moving it.
He once again warned loyalists of the YSR Congress Chief in the Congress of disciplinary action.
"Congress would take action on those violating the party discipline after identifying them," he said.
To restrict such members, the party had already started its exercise and will goahead with disciplinary action against those involved in anti-party activities, he added.
Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Legislative Party (TDLP), which met here, discussed the strategy of the party in the House through video conference with Party Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, who was currently on padayatra.
