Party workers celebrate YSRCP's 2nd anniversary
Hyderabad, Mar 12 :Even as Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy continued to remain in prison in illegal assets case, YSR Congress party workers celebrated its second anniversary today.
The party was formed on March 12,2010 by Former Chief Minister YSR's son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
YSR Congress Party Honorary President YS Vijayamma kick-started the anniversary celebrations by hoisting the party flag and cutting a cake at its party office located at Jubilee Hills here.
Addressing a huge gathering on the occasion, Ms Vijayamma recalled the services of her husband Dr YSR who adopted various welfare schemes for benefit of the poor during his tenure.
Criticising the present government led by Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy 'for dumping the schemes,' she also hit out at the government and the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) 'for their conspiracies to trouble the family.'
'On one hand, Jagan was sent to jail while on the other, they have targeted Sharmila's husband Br Anil while she is walking across villages to know the people's problems,' she alleged.
