More than 45000 street lights installed in J and K: Minister
Jammu, Mar 12 : The Jammu and Kashmir government today said more than 45000 street lights have been installed in twin capital cities of the state.
''15683 and 29882 street lights have been installed in Srinagar and Jammu cities by the respective Municipal Corporations,'' Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies Nawang Rigzin Jora today told the House while replying to
a question asked by Dharambir Singh.
The Minister said other departments like PDD and Tourism have also installed some lights in the capital cities.
