Piaggio offers CNG/LPG/Petrol 3 wheelers
New Delhi, Mar 12 : Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL), a 100 per cent subsidiary of the Italian Piaggio and CSpA and India's leading manufacturer of light transportation solutions, has unveiled the ape City, a state-of-the-art three wheeler passenger carrier.
The ape city comes fitted with a Piaggio 3 Valve Engine being
introduced for the first time in the 3 wheeler category in
India.
The vehicle will be available in CNG/LPG/Petrol fuel variants.
A release here said the new product has been competitively priced in line with the distinct requirements of customers in this category.
PVPL commenced its operations with the launch of the 3 wheeler
brand ape. 'PVPL created the market, grew the market, owned
the market and sustained a dominant and leadership position in the diesel three wheeler segment. The apé City is a strategic initiative from Piaggio to further expand its share in the
three wheeler market,' the release said.
