Ramesh Sippy gets Teacher's Lifetime award 
Mumbai, Mar 12 : The Teacher's Achievement Awards (TAA), one of the most reputed awards in India, presented its 12th edition at Taj Lands End in Mumbai recently.
The Teacher's Achievement Awards recognise and celebrate the true sense of individual excellence in diverse fields.
The ceremony concluded with veteran filmmaker Ramesh Sippy being honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Actor Boman Irani, hosted the evening on Mar 9.
The evening opened with a stunning performance by the past Teacher's Achievers' Shiamak Davar, Sunidhi Chauhan, Prasoon Joshi and Boman Irani who came together and presented an ode to achievement to the distinguished audience.
This was followed by a standup comedy act by Vikram Sathaye, Cyrus Sahukar and Ashwin Mushran.
The grand finale saw a splendid fusion performance by Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan, Kailash Kher and Karsh Kale.
The evening saw past winners, jury members and key stakeholders of the Teacher's Achievement Awards join the celebrations.
Those present included Akshay Kumar, Sussanne Roshan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Irrfan Khan, Nargis Fakhri, Ramesh Sippy, Swara Bhaskar, Amrita Puri, Yukta Mookhey, Aditya Hitkari, Divya Palat, Vidya Malvade and many more.
