New Delhi, Mar 7 : Cricketer Virender Sehwag, who was dropped from the Indian squad for the remaining two Tests against Australia, on Thursday said he will make a 'comeback' to the national side.
Sehwag said he has no plans of quitting the game.
"There is no question of retirement. My career is not yet over. I'll make a comeback," he told CNN-IBN.
Out-of-form Sehwag was dropped from the Indian squad on Thursday as the All-India Senior Selection Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the team for the third and fourth Tests of the ongoing Airtel Test series against Australia.
The selectors announced a 14-man squad for the remaining two Tests and no replacement was announced for Sehwag.
The opener scored just 2, 19 and 6 in the last three innings against Australia in the ongoing series.
The third Test will be played in Mohali from Mar 14 to Mar 18.
The final Test will be played in Delhi from Mar 22 to Mar 26.
India is leading the series by 2-0 margin.
