Girl raped in Delhi autorickshaw
New Delhi, Mar 6 : A young woman returning home from a shopping mall was allegedly raped by three men in the National Capital Region (NCR)'s Ghaziabad on Saturday last, reports said on Wednesday.
According to media reports, the 19-year-old girl was robbed and raped by the three men who were on a "joyride" on the auto. The incident occurred near Dasna in Ghaziabad.
Reports said the girl had shouted for help during a two and a half hour ride on the auto but neither cops nor anyone came for help.
The rape is shocking since police and administration had claimed intensifying patrolling after the brutal and fatal Delhi bus rape.
The girl was left bleeding on the road after the assault, reports said.
Two men were arrested and charged.
