'Sta Nina' among 25 films to be screened in film fete
Kozhikode, Mar 5 : 'Sta Nina,' 'The Colours of the Mountain,' 'Portrait in a Sea of Lies,' would be among 25 films, to be screened in the International Film Festival beginning here on March 15.
Some of the other entries in world category of the fete to be hosted by Kozhikode Corporation as part of its silver jubilee celebrations would be 'The Painting Lesson' and 'Burried Secrets,' said a release here today.
Classics such as 'Swayamvaram' and 'Nirmalyam' by eminent film makers Adoor Gopalakrishnan and M T Vasudevan Nair respectively would be screened in contemporary Malayalam section of the fete organised in association with the Kerala State Chalachitra Acadedy, Information and Public Relations Department and Film Soceity Federations, it said.
Efforts were being made to include works of veteran film makers Hrithuparna Ghosh, Gireesh Kasaravalli, Sumitra Bhave and Nithin Kakkar, it said.
Well known film personality Ranjit would be the Director of the seven-day fete, the release added.
