Simple look dominates at Milan Fashion Week
Rome, Feb 27 : Emporio Armani and Gianfranco Ferre unveiled designs during Milan Fashion Week characterized by a simplicity of form and colour as the style women will wear during the next fall-winter season.
On the runway Emporio Armani made it clear that articles of men's clothing will be a must for women, above all jackets with sharp angles and dark, restrained colours.
Emporio Armani will have women in the fall wearing a sophisticated blend of the jacket, floaty skirts to their feet that move with the breeze down the streets of the world, and whose details of gems and fringes create an elegant combination.
Black was basic for Gianfranco Ferre, whose designs followed Emporio Armani on the Milan catwalk, with accents of cream white and chocolate brown.
The structured Gianfrano Ferre designs often had an oriental look.
