Global crude oil price of Indian Basket falls
New Delhi, Feb 27 : The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published on Wednesday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to USUSD 110.17/barrel (bbl) on Feb 26.
This was lower than the price of US$ 111.37/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Feb 25.
In rupee terms, also, the crude oil price declined to Rs 5955.79/bbl on Feb 26 as compared to Rs 6018.43/bbl on Feb 25.
This was due to fall in price in dollar terms.
Rupee-dollar exchange rate on Feb 26 was Rs 54.06/US$ against Rs 54.04/US$ on previous trading day of Feb 25.
