Maharashtra: MNS attacks NCP offices
Mumbai, Feb 27 : Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers on Wednesday attacked Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) offices in several areas in Maharashtra including Mumbai, reports said.
The incident occurred a day after suspected NCP workers pelted stones and waved black flags at MNS chief Raj Thackeray's convoy in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra on Tuesday.
According to reports, the MNS workers on Wednesday attacked NCP offices in Pune, Thane and Mumbai cities.
Workers from both the parties clashed in different parts of the state since last night after the stone pelting incident.
"If we are spoken to with love, we too shall speak with love. The reply will be in the same language. The workers who pelted stones at Raj Thackeray's convoy must first apologise," MNS leader Ram Kadam told CNN-IBN.
The NCP workers were reportedly upset over Thackeray's criticism of senior party leaders and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
