Mumbai, Feb 25 : The BSE Sensex rose 0.08 percent on Monday as gains by software services exporters pared losses by market heavyweight ONGC.
The 30-share benchmark index ended 14.68 points higher at 19,331.69 with 15 of its components closings in the green.
The broader 50-share National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index ended 0.08 percent or 4.45 points higher at 5,854.75 on Monday.
Non-banking financial companies also gained along with IT stocks in the day on brightening outlook.
Meanwhile on the New Delhi bullion market, gold dipped by Rs 160 to Rs 29,900 per 10 grams while silver too plunged by Rs 1,450 to Rs 53,750 per kg.
