Australia condemns Hyderabad blasts
New Delhi, Feb 22 : Australia on Friday expressed condolences and sympathy for victims of the bomb attacks in Hyderabad on Feb 21 in which at least 12 people died and 119 were injured.
In a statement, Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs Bob Carr said: "Australia condemns all acts of terrorism. These bombs appear to have been directed at innocent people, going about their daily business."
Foreign Minister Bob Carr said he will be writing to India's Foreign Minister, Salman Khurshid, to express his support for India's efforts to prevent terrorist attacks.
"Our thoughts are with the families and friends of those killed or wounded," Senator Carr said.
