Goa on alert after Hyderabad blasts
By John Edwards, Panaji, Feb 21 : Security in Goa has been stepped up after serial blasts ripped through a crowded locality in Hyderabad killing at least eleven. Goa police issued a general alert even as a nationwide alert is sounded in the country. Police spokesman told reporters that security at sensitive places including the lone international airport, railway-bus stations, border checkposts and other crowded places has been tightened.
Police stations have been strictly instructed to remain alert.
