BSE Sensex edges slightly higher
Mumbai, Feb 20 : The BSE Sensex rose 0.04 percent on Wednesday helped by gains in certain blue chips.
The 30-share benchmark index ended 7.03 points higher at 19,642.75 with 22 of its components closings in the green.
The broader 50-share National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index ended 0.06 percent or 3.35 points higher at 5,943.05 on Wednesday.
Shares in Reliance Industries and DLF gained on hopes of better earnings even as caution prevailed on the upcoming budget.
Meanwhile on the bullion market, gold fell Rs 385 to Rs 29,475 per 10 grams while silver also lost Rs 385 to Rs 29,475 per kg.
