Crude oil price of Indian Basket declines
New Delhi, Feb 19 : The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published on Tuesday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to USUSD 114.39/barrel (bbl) on Feb 18.
This was lower than the price of US$ 114.49/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Feb 15.
In rupee terms, however, the crude oil price of increased to Rs 6,210.23/bbl on Feb 18 as compared to Rs 6,181.32/bbl on Feb 15.
This was due to rupee depreciation.
Rupee dollar exchange rate on Feb 18 at Rs 54.29/US$ against Rs 53.99/US$ on previous trading day of Feb 15.
