New Delhi, Feb 12 : The fast track court will today hear the testimonies of three magistrates, who recorded the statements of five adult accused of the December 16 gangrape of a 23-year-old para-medical student in a moving bus in Delhi.
Additional Sessions Judge Yogesh Khanna, who is handling the case on day-to-day basis under the camera lenses, had reportedly summoned the magistrates to testify before the court today.
Last week, two doctors from AIIMS and two bank officials were testified on behalf of prosecution and cross examined by defence lawyers.
Earlier, the prosecution had called the 23-year-old victim's software engineer friend, who was accompanying the girl on the night of the incident, to testify in the court. He was also cross-examined by the defence lawyers the next day.
The media is not allowed to report the day-to-day proceedings of the case.
The Delhi Police had filed a supplementary charge sheet in the case. It included the victim's autopsy report from the Singapore hospital where she died on December 29.
