BJP again raking up Ram Temple issue for electoral gains: Charak
Samastipur, Feb 12 : All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and In-charge of Bihar affairs of the party Gulchain Singh Charak today alleged that BJP was again trying to raise the issue of construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya for political gains in the next Lok Sabha elections.
Mr Charak told mediapersons here that the issue of construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya was again being raked up by the BJP for political gains and the party had internally finalised its strategy to take advantage on the issue in next Lok Sabha elections.
"Under the well knitted strategy, the BJP had decided to project Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the candidate for Prime Minister during next Lok Sabha elections and only formal announcement is to be made by the party," Mr Charak said and added that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was trying to project its secular face by distancing himself from Mr Modi.
"People of Bihar are no more prepared to accept such a gimmick of Mr Kumar as on one hand he is enjoying power with BJP in Bihar while on the other he continues to express his displeasure over Mr Modi being projected as PM candidate by the BJP," Mr Charak further added.
