Man axed to death over 'pet hen' dispute
Jamshedpur, Feb 12 : A 42-year-old man was axed to death and another injured in Harina village under Kowali police station of East Singhbhum district following a family dispute over killing and eating of a pet hen, police said today.
The culprit Rajiv, who allegedly killed, cooked and ate the pet hen of his uncle Krishna Nayak last evening had an altercation with him.
Later, in the heat of fury, he killed Krishna with multiple blows of axe.
Another person, recognised as Krishna's brother Rajkishor was also injured in the incident.
Rajiv has been arrested, police said.
