Oz 'dancing' hurdler Michelle Jenneke poses for Sports Illustrated
Melbourne, February 12 : Michelle Jenneke, the Australian hurdler who leapt to stardom last year with her pre-race dance routine, is set to feature in the 'athletes' section of this year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
Jenneke became an internet sensation with her warm-up routine before the 100m hurdles at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona last year.
And despite not qualifying for the 2012 London Olympic Games, she's certain to get plenty more attention after being one of four athletes chosen to feature in the popular sports mag's swimsuit issue.
Picked to appear under the 'athletes' section, the young Aussie appears alongside US surfer Alana Blanchard and Dutch hockey stars Ellen Hoog and Eva de Goede, News.com.au reported.
Jenneke has deferred a course in mechatronic engineering at Sydney University, a combination of mechanical and electrical engineering.
