Global crude oil price: Indian Basket rises
New Delhi, Feb 11 : The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Monday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to USUSD 114.68/barrel (bbl) on Feb 8.
This was higher than the price of USUSD 113.94/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Feb 7.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of increased to Rs 6143.41 /bbl on Feb 8 as compared to Rs 6054.77 /bbl on Feb 7.
This was due to price increase in dollar terms and rupee depreciation.
Rupee dollar-exchange rate on Feb 8 at Rs 53.57/USUSD against Rs 53.14/USUSD on previous trading day of Feb 7.
