Bangalore, Feb 9 : Eminent multilingual actor Kamal Hassan, emerging from controversies shrouding his latest blockbuster 'Viswaroopam' today said work on his Hollywood venture with 'Lord of the Rings' producer Barrie M Osborne would start only after his new production 'Move'
Talking to mediapersons here, he said he would be completing
the work on the sequel 'Viswaroopam 2' this year and after that would plunge into the making of 'Move'. He hoped that the Sequel would be released this year and would not attract controversies as the first one did. 'Viswaroopam two' is India based story.
The versatile multi-faceted actor complimented the Karnataka government for 'fearlessly' ensuring a peaceful release of the Vishwaroopam, as did in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and rest of the country followed with Tamil Nadu being the final state to clear the film.
He also expressed concern over the legal problems faced by Viswaroopam is being continued with two other tamil films 'Kadal' and 'Aadhibhagavan'. He hoped would give a fitting reply to such trend if not the government.
He said the film which was released two days ago across Tamil Nadu was receiving overwhelming response. 'Perhaps people are trooping into cinema halls with venegence to ensure the success of the movie' he said adding that Viswaroopam might emerge his biggest ever hit film.
Asked whether the experience and hardship he faced would impact him or change his pattern of film, he said 'I want to make good films and I will take the right direction. I will not look to crooked ways'
