Pune, Feb 9 : Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Madhya Pradesh. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of east Rajasthan, and in remaining parts of east Madhya Pradesh. They were below normal in some parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan, Goa and Chhattisgarh, and in remaining parts of west Madhya Pradsh.

They were markedly above normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya and Maharashtra. They were appreciably above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh,Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Punjab and Marathwada, and in remaining parts of Madhya Maharashtra. They were above normal in some parts of Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka, and in remaining parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-himalayan West Bengal,Sikkim and Chhattisgarh. They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 3.6 degree Celsius has been recorded at Amritsar in Punjab in the plains of the country. Rain or thundershowers may occur at isolated places in Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu,Kerala, north Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal and south interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, south Madhya Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and north interior Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers had occurred at a few places in Jharkhand and south interior Karnataka. They had occurred at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Ganetic West Bengal, Odisha,east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and coastal Karnataka.
