New Delhi, Feb 9 : Ace designer Tarun Tahiliani's second flagship outlet in the capital is inspired by ancient heritage homes. It has some of his signature dresses, with accessible price tags.
Located at Defence Colony, the space is an amalgamation of traditional and contemporary interiors - something synonymous with Tahiliani, best known for his ability to infuse Indian craftsmanship and textile heritage with European tailored silhouettes.
The store is exquisite - with ancient Thikri work on ceiling, pearl work at the entrance, pichwais painting at the columns and hand-knotted carpets. The staff's uniform also has Tahiliani's signature prints.
As far as the collection is concerned, buyers can pick the best from chikankari and concept saris, anarkalis, lehengas, sherwanis, and printed separates.
The store also offers Swarovski-spangled saris and structured drapes for special occasions and bridal wear for both men and women.
The highpoint of the store is the spring-summer 2013 collection starting from Rs.3,999 for the ready-to-wear and upto Rs.60,000 for occasion wear.
This is the second flagship store of the designer in the capital. He already retails from his store in DLF Emporio. His other stores in India include two in Mumbai and one in Hyderabad.
