Mumbai, Feb 08 : Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan today denied that the state was lagging behind in industrial development in comparison to others.
Speaking at the Maharashtra Industry Summit here, Mr Chavan said the state has a steady industrial progress.
He said industries will have to pay more tariff if they want power supply for 24 hours.
Mr Pawar said Maharashrtra has its thrust on agriculture, which continues to be the main source of revenue.
