Crude oil price of Indian Basket increases
New Delhi, Feb 8 : The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Friday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to USUSD 113.94/barrel (bbl) on Feb 7.
This was higher than the price of USUSD 113.27/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Feb 6.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6054.77 /bbl on Feb 7 as compared to Rs 6013.50 /bbl on Feb 6.
This was due to price increase in dollar terms.
Rupee dollar-exchange rate on Feb 7 was Rs 53.14/USUSD against Rs 53.09/USUSD on previous trading day of Feb 6.
