Bollywood actor targets to make 1.25 cr 'shivlings' at Kumbh
Kumbh Nagar (Allahabad), Feb 7 : Bollywood actorAshutosh Rana has opted an ususal way to pay his obeisanceto Lord Shiva and is setting-up 1.25 crore 'shivlings' atthe ongoing Maha Kumbh mela, one of the biggest religiousaffairs in the world.
The actor, who has worked in Hindi and Telugu film
industries and given a number of hit flicks like Sangharsh,
Raaz, Kasoor and Gulam, has taken the support of his Pandit
Dev Prabhakar Shastri's disciples.
The 'shivlings' are being made-up of mud on sector-8 of
the Kumbh mela premises and would be established after
Furnishing informarion about the holy task, Mr Rana said
that the making of shivlings amid holy chants provide us
peace and energy.
"As food is necessary for living, hymns and religious
acts gives us peace," the actor stated.
The actor, however, denied to make any statement
regarding his filmi career, syaing it was his religious
visit and he would like to talk only about it.
