Grammy's dress code: No obscene skin show
Los Angeles, Feb 7 : No visible thongs and transparent clothes are allowed at the forthcoming 55th Grammy awards, according to a leaked email, "a standard and practice wardrobe advisory", reports thesun.co.uk.
The Grammys have slapped a ban on thongs, exposed breasts or any such obscene activity. They must all be covered at their forthcoming awards ceremony, said the report.
A long list of rules and regulations has been distributed for those attending the 55th Grammys Feb 10 at the Staples Center here.
Among the instructions, it is included that "thong type costumes are problematic" and "please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered".
It also reads that attendants should "be sure the genital region is adequately covered" and that "bare sides or under curvature of the breasts are also problematic", while women should avoid "see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples".
The email is said to have been sent out Tuesday, reports The Sun.
