New Delhi, Feb 7 : The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Thursday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to USUSD 113.27/barrel (bbl) on Feb 6.
This was higher than the price of USUSD 112.63/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Feb 5.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6013.50 /bbl on Feb 6 as compared to Rs 6002.05/bbl on Feb 5.
This was due to price increase in dollar terms despite rupee appreciation.
Rupee dollar-exchange rate on Feb 6 was Rs 53.09/USUSD against Rs 53.29/USUSD on previous trading day of Feb 5.
