Kolkata, Feb 7 : Treta Bhattacharya prevailed over second seeded Amrita Mukherjee in a marathon three-setter to win the match at the ongoing Central Excise Open AITA Grass Court Tennis Championship held at the grass courts here on Thursday.

In the opening set, Treta took a quick lead by 4-1 in no time, from where Mukherjee came back to level it at 4-4.

Treta again proved to be little better as she refused to make errors at the crucial points, thereby taking the set by 6-4.
