Pak Air Force bases put on high alert following terror attempt in Karachi
Islamabad, Feb. 6 : The Pakistan Air Force has put its all bases on high alert, following a terrorist attempt on one of its bases in Karachi.
According to PAF spokesperson, Tariq Mehmood, unidentified miscreants hurled two hand grenades in front of the PAF base located at Shahra-e-Faisal, injuring one pedestrian, reports The Nation.
Mehmood said security agencies are in full control of the situation and are carrying out investigation into the incident and taking help from CCTV footage.
Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies were deployed at the site after the attack. Rangers, police, and PAF personnel have cordoned off the area. Bomb disposal squad searched the area to ensure there would not be any device planted there.
