New Delhi, Feb 6 : Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here and called the visit a courtesy call.
Modi met the PM for the first time since he won the election and formed the government in Gujarat as the state's chief minister.
"Met PM for the first time since government formation in Gujarat," said Modi.
He also said the PM congratulated him on his win and for forming the government in Gujarat.
The Gujarat CM spoke to Singh to sort out the ongoing tussle over the UPA government's decision to hike the LPG price.
"Spoke to PM over Gujarat tussle with centre on gas price," said Modi.
"PM promised to look into the tussle over gas price with centre," he asserted.
Modi is also scheduled to address the students and faculty of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) on Wednesday here.
