BSE Sensex falls on Euro fears
Mumbai, Feb 5 : The BSE Sensex fell 0.46 percent on Tuesday as resurgent worries about Europe's economy jolted markets worldwide.
The 30-share benchmark index ended 91.37 points lower at 19,659.82 with 19 of its components closing in the red.
The broader 50-share National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty index ended 0.51 percent or 30.35 points lower at 5,956.90 on Tuesday.
Quarterly results' disappointments and profit-taking compounded the overseas woes as recent outperformers declined.
Meanwhile in the New Delhi bullion market, gold rebounded by Rs 200 to Rs 30,950 per 10 grams while silver recovered Rs 295 to Rs 58,600 per kg.
