Three Indian fishermen rescued by Lankan fishing boat
New Delhi, Feb. 5 : Three Indian fishermen, whose boat had capsized 200 nautical miles from Negombo, were rescued by a Sri Lankan fishing boat.
Officials of the Indian High Commission in Colombo, who reached Negombo, arranged for the hospitalisation of the Indian fishermen, sources said.
The Indian fishermen are now receiving medical attention.
The High Commission of India will provide emergency certificates and make arrangements for their return as soon as they are fit to travel, the sources added.
