Crude oil price of Indian Basket rises
New Delhi, Feb 5 (IBNS) The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Tuesday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas increased to USUSD 113.16/barrel (bbl) on Feb 4.
This was higher than the price of USUSD 112.50/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Feb 1.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price declined to Rs 5994.09/bbl on Feb 4 as compared to Rs 5998.50/bbl on Feb 1.
This was due to rupee appreciation as rupee dollar-exchange rate on Feb 4 at Rs 52.97/USUSD against Rs 53.32/USUSD on previous trading day of Feb 1.
