Lindsey Vonn to get bodyguards at World Ski Championships after Tiger Woods dating rumors
London, Feb. 5 : Tiger Woods' "girlfriend" Lindsey Vonn will be surrounded by bodyguards at the Alpine World Ski Championships, as attention on her personal life has intensified due to rumours of her dating the legendary golfer.
An average of 30,000 fans per race are expected in the small Alpine village of Schladming, Austria, during the 13-day championships, that starts on Tuesday with the women's super-G and will end on February 17.
Vonn said that there is going to be an incredible amount of people in Schladming and it's a very small space.
The 28-year-old sportsperson said on Sunday that Red Bull, her sponsor, had hired security "to make sure I can get in and out and not have any difficulty, but I don't expect there to be any problems. But it's better to be safe than sorry," the Daily Mail reported.
She was also asked whether the golfing ace would be coming to watch her ski.
Vonn said that she didn't know if Woods was coming or not and that people should rather ask him that question.
