Bangalore, Feb 4 : Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar expressed confidence that the Budget Session which began here today on a sedate note, would pass smoothly.
"The Opposition parties had co-operated with the government for smooth conduct of the session in Belgaum and this time also he was confident of getting their support," he told newsmen in the Vidhana Soudha, the State Secretariat.
Replying to a question, Mr Shettar reiterated that he did not forsee "any hurdle in the presentation of the Budget for 2013-14 on February 8 and it will be done as per schedule."
