Four NDFB cadres, enroute Myanmar arrested
Guwahati, Feb 4 : Four National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) cadres, including three women, were arrested by a joint team of security forces from the Inter-State Bus Terminus in Assam's main city Guwahati last night.
Police today said the arrests were made by a team of state police, CRPF and Army, based on specific information.
The newly inducted women cadres of the outfit were reportedly on way to Myanmar via Dimapur (Nagaland) for training.
The male cadre arrested with them, Uttam Borgiary, was in-charge of transit of the new cadres.
The apprehended women cadres are Minu Basumtary, Anima Brahma and Bharati Basumatary, all from Chirang district in Bodoland Territorial Autonomous Districts (BTAD).
