'Million march' man Qadri criticised for saving nation from 'martial law' remarks
Lahore, Feb. 4 : Pakistani senator Pervaiz Rashid has strongly condemned a statement by Minhaj-ul-Quran International chief, Tahirul Qadri, who said that had he not announced to end the long march, martial law would have been imposed in the country.
Rashid said that Qadri, in order to save himself from the humiliation and failure of the long march, had started levelling such allegations against defence institutions, reports the Daily Times.
Rashid said that such an act by Qadri had exposed his negative mentality. He demanded the spokesman for the army to immediately take notice of such statements.
