Mallika threatened over Bhanwari Devi inspired film

Indore, MP,Feb 4 : Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat has allegedly received threatening calls for being part for an upcoming film 'Dirty Politics' inspired by infamous Bhanwari Devi sex scandal.

"Mallika has been receiving threatening calls regularly. However, no police complaint has been lodged," the film's director KC Bokadia told reporters here yesterday.

A part of the film is being shot in Madhya Pradesh's commercial capital.

Bhanwari Devi sex scandal in Rajasthan that involved a minister had stirred the whole nation when a compact disc was released.

Fresh snowfall in upper reaches, rain in plains in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 4 : Upper reaches in the Kashmir valley, including world famous ski resort of Gulmarg and health resort of Pahalgam, received moderate to heavy snowfall while plains, including summer capital, Srinagar, had rains resulting in drop in the temperature.

A Met department spokesman said today that there would be heavy to heavy rain or snow at several places in Kashmir and Jammu regions and at isolated places in Ladakh region during next 72 hours.

He said heavy to very heavy rain and snow at a few places in Kashmir and Jammu regions with possibility of hailstorm at some places in Jammu region.

It is heavily snowing and all trees had turned white, a hotel

owner told UNI over phone from world famous ski resort of Gulmarg, where the slopes are already under three to four feet of snow.

About one feet of fresh snow was experienced since yesterday, he said, adding that heavy to very heavy snowfall was experienced on upper heights, including Kongdori, Khilanmarg and Affarwat, the highest ski point connected through Cable Car, attracting skiers from different parts of the country and abroad.

Keeping in view the trend of tourist arrival, this winter will see a record guests, he said, adding that organising ski courses was an added attraction.

The upper reaches in north Kashmir, including Keran, Karnah, Tangdhar, Razdan and Sadhna passes, Machil, Teetwal, Neeru, Dawar and areas near the Line of Control (LoC) also experienced moderate to heavy snowfall since yesterday.
