New Delhi, Jan 31 : The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Thursday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to USUSD 111.44/barrel (bbl) on Jan 30.
This was higher than the price of USUSD 110.63/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Jan 29.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price increased to Rs 5969.84/bbl on Jan 30 as compared to Rs 5940.83/bbl on Jan 29.
This was due to rupee appreciation as rupee dollar-exchange rate on Jan 30 at Rs 53.57/USUSD against Rs 53.70/USUSD on previous trading day of Jan 29.
