New Delhi, Jan 31 : Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on Thursday met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders here as BJP president Rajnath Singh said no political issues were discussed during the meeting.
BJP leaders like Sushma Swaraj and LK Advani attended the meeting.
Bhaiyyaji Joshi and Suresh Soni attended the meeting from the RSS.
"It was a regular meeting.We did not have any political discussions during the meeting," Singh told reporters on Thursday.
Singh said there was 'no question of a clash with the RSS'.
"I am the president of the BJP and a member of RSS. There is no question of a clash with the RSS," he said.
Speaking on Prime Minister candidate of the party and the name of Narendra Modi for it, Singh said: "The Parliamentary board is the correct forum for deciding who will be our Prime Ministerial candidate."
He said the board is yet to be constituted.
Pertinently, the RSS is the parent body of the BJP.
